Chasing Space’s raw, funk-infused style draws upon a wide variety of influences from the American and European House sounds of the 90’s and beyond. The duo first fell in love with House Music during their early years of clubbing at Johannesburg hot-spots such as Truth Nightclub where they would later play along side artists such as Ben Rau, Purple Disco Machine, Miguel Campbell and many more…
They made their production debut in July 2019 with the release of their Factory Floors EP, a 4-track offering they put out on their own label Gaplife. They soon followed up with the ‘Don’t Step On My Shoes EP’ which dropped on Kenny Dope’s Dopewax in September 2019.
The combination of this duo’s artistic ambitions and their street-wise Jo’burg spirit makes for an exciting brand of House that is uniquely their own.
